Cruising the Cuban Beat

American Classic Car Excursion in Cuba 2019

Cruising the Cuban Beat.
  4/13/19-4/18/19
5 Night Key West & Havana Overnight

Carnival Paradise

This your Captain Copacetic speaking,
Whether by Carnival Paradise or Classic American Cars.Cruising the Cuban Beat was a blast from the past. Upon our arrival, the morning scene graced our vessel with the sun rise reflecting from the Caribbean Ocean. This cruise holds a deeper desire to step foot in a country that has been off limits to U.S. citizens for about 48 years. This country I will step together with my First-mate Freckles celebrating of our 7th year wedding anniversary.  Because a couple that cruises together, stays thought... I always say:-)

CABIN OF BUMS:
Me and First-mate Freckles up graded to the Grand Suite (U73). It was a blessing, Very spaces and highly decorated.  We enjoyed great rest and relaxation with in the "Cabin of Bums". We got a chance to sleep in until noon after we were entertained at the Tropicana Cabaret.  I even ventured off a couple of nights on the balcony. These nights is beheld sweet quiet communion with the Monarchy of the universe through Christ. This devotional time was much needed. I was revived with the love and power of God those nights. Truly fit for a family, but fabulous for a cruising couple. As you were...

CUSTOMER SERVICE:
    A special shout
out to our stateroom
steward, Komang!
He was always friendly, helpful and upbeat. He truly added comforted and convenience to our cruising experience. The daily turn-down was amazing. The cleanliness of the cabin with on point like an index finger! I am impressed with Komang's attention to details with the result of such cleanliness.  Remember shipmates. Our cruising experience has a whole lot to do with our  stateroom stewards and the rest of the staff on carnival or any cruise line for that matter. So,always be mindful of those who provide the homely gestures on board. As you were...
 CHOW:
The food was all that...and then some!
I though I would go straight to desserts.
Since the calories don't count. Which is fun to entertain. But, too many this is their reality:-)
I care much for the fruit platter after a good meal.My First-mate enjoyed the Phyillo with carmel cream. She claims it was a 10! I could tell from smile as she molded her lips into each other. As she pleasantly enjoys dessert.

CRUISER BEWARE:
Make sure when you order yourself a  pizza from of the Lido deck. You stand there and WAIT FOR IT.... your PIZZA! We found this out the hard way.Three times we had our pizza given away. Because we choose to wandering off to get other elements of our meal. Until our pizza was done. As you were...

                                    Cruise Score:
                                           9 1/2
                                         KNOTS
